Sketching People in Motion in San Miguel de Allende with Jessica Antonelli, Saturday, February 25, 2017
Do you avoid drawing people because you're not sure how to capture their energy in your drawings? Say no more! Art Leap Adventures has teamed up with local artist and teacher Jessica Antonelli to offer you this one-day workshop, "Sketching People in Motion."
We'll break down the steps of capturing the energy of people moving through the scenes in your sketchbook, using techniques covered in this engaging one-day workshop. We'll also work through different approaches to sketching groups of moving figures in various mediums. In one immersive afternoon, we’ll see multi-media presentations of famous sketchers and how they approach drawing scenes with moving people, as well as use new techniques in the studio. Then, we’ll take our new skills outdoors to sketch from life in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. You’ll walk away with helpful handouts and a new set of tricks up your sleeve for sketching people in motion.
