Xilitla is best enjoyed during low season, which is why we're going midweek. We've chosen places to stay that have a reputation for being clean, safe and respectful; we will not be in the company of other guests with loud music, nor those looking to party. These three days and two nights are for travelers, artists, environmentalists, dreamers and people who love peace and tranquility; it's an opportunity to get unplugged and enjoy the sounds of no internet.
Pablo and Meagan have you covered; Pablo will get us there and keep us safe and informed; Meagan will make sure we have everything we need over the course of the three days.
Pablo has been guiding eco-tours for eight years and spent two years living in Xilitla; he's far more comfortable in the wilds of the mountains and jungles of Mexico as an avid mountain biker, hiker and constant curious student of life. Pablo has worked for Natura on the Ancha San Antonio and in Mercado Sano for many years before starting his own Permaculture Tour company, which is how I met him; he has a warm heart and is a bright and helpful guide.
Trip is limited to six or seven participants, please RSVP quickly if you plan on attending.
Bring your enthusiasm for an adventurous experience, and leave all your worries of politics behind, because this will be a NO POLITICS ZONE.
