For the Love of Mexico: Folk Art, Food & Spirits at the Hacienda El Santuario hosted by Meagan Burns Tuesday, February 20, 2024, 6 - 9pm San Miguel de Allende
Meagan Burns invites you to join us for an evening of art history, Mexican folk art, locally produced food and drink, and storytelling by a master local pulque maker. Get to know a different side of San Miguel de Allende, and be sure to bring your sketchbook --
You're invited to an enchanting evening at San Miguel de Allende's Hotel Hacienda el Sanctuario for an evening of Mexican Folk Art, San Miguel de Allende history, and local culinary delights converge for a truly memorable experience. Nestled in the heart of Aldama and Terraplén close to Parque Juarez, the hacienda is ours for an evening of socializing, art making and partaking.
We'll start with a local crafted cordial and hear a local art historian inform us about the Hacienda and the intricate art that adorns its grounds and walls. The atmosphere is set for an exploration of local flavors with a mezcal and pulque tasting, allowing guests to savor the essence of Mexican spirits. To complete this artistic odyssey, a specially curated menu awaits for you to choose from, designed to complement the evening's ambiance.
Bring your sketchbook and a friend to share in the magic of this unique San Miguel de Allende art experience, all who are curious are invited, not just sketchers.

Message from Meagan:
I've recently moved back to San Miguel de Allende after three years in Mexico City, which was a powerhouse education on Mexico and it's history. I am an artist who likes to draw as I learn about history and art, and so I've created a series of art experiences in San Miguel de Allende that will enrich your life not only as an artist, but as a visitor to this historic and artistic Mexican mecca. Join me for a fun and festive night at the Hacienda El Sanctuario!
